What are the main differences between these two models?
This is a very popular question when it comes to these two models from Venmar.
So what is the big difference between the two models?
Venmar Solo Models
A Venmar Solo model is a Heat Recovery Ventilator.
The Solo model is designed to be used in cold climates such as Minnesota.
The Solo is great for excessive winter humidity but will bring in added humidity in the summer when in operation.
Venmar Duo Models
A Venmar Duo model is a Energy Recovery Ventilator.
The Duo works best when in operation all year round.
The Duo is not as good as the Solo model for excessive winter humidity and will not bring in added humidity in the summer.
The Duo unit will not add a lot to your cooling load.
