Push Button Control
The Venmar Lighted Push Button is a low voltage, remote mounted control which
provides 20 minutes of high speed operation. After that time, a double
arrow light at the top of the control will go out and the VENMAR unit will
return to the setting previously selected by the homeowner. This control
can be used with all VENMAR models. Three color-coded, 22 gauge (or
larger) wires make the connection from the lighted push button to the terminal
block inside the electrical box on the outside of the VENMAR unit. Each
terminal is labeled I, OC, OL. It is critical that the same color wire is
attached to the same position at each end. For example: red to I, blue top
OC, black to OL. The lighted push button requires a standard single gang
electrical box, and by code must be independent of any line voltage controls.
Located on the face of the VENMAR Lighted Push Button is a "house" in the middle of the control, a "house with two arrows" on top of the control and the VENMAR logo at the bottom of the control. Following is a brief description of the operational features of this wall control.
